# A Guddesch – Hotel, restaurant, events

Just a stone’s throw from **Mersch**, in the heart of Luxembourg, A Guddesch comprises a **hotel**, a **restaurant**, and several function and meeting rooms. That’s what makes it an ideal place for all your events.

## A Guddesch: togetherness, gastronomy and hospitality

			
Born out of the renovation and modernisation of a former farmhouse, A Guddesch now has the most expansive culinary and events range in the **Mersch** region.

Created in 2009, the “Scheier” function room and the [restaurant](/our-restaurant/) (building n° 1) marked the beginning of our adventure. The construction of the [hotel](/martha-hotel/) along with the cookery studio and bakery (building n° 2) in 2013 allowed the establishment to broaden its offer. On the agenda are: [culinary and gourmet events](/events-intro/), [work seminars and meetings](/business-service/), [family celebrations](/celebrations/) and a [world of flavours](/gourmet-shop/) to discover.

## Modern cuisine based on regional ingredients

			
In the kitchen, our chef works with seasonal and local ingredients to create a modern, French-inspired menu. We place great significance on the selection of our raw ingredients. These are chosen with the greatest care and according to the highest quality criteria.
